Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and design-savvy Store Manager to lead our San Francisco Home Interiors store. The ideal candidate is a polished retail leader who thrives in a luxury environment, drives sales through exceptional client experiences, and inspires a high-performing team to achieve excellence in every detail.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

  • Achieve and exceed store sales, profitability, and performance goals.
  • Analyze sales metrics and client trends to drive business decisions.
  • Partner with senior management to execute local marketing and outreach initiatives.


Client Experience

  • Deliver an elevated, personalized customer experience consistent with the Anthem San Francisco brand.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with the design community, trade clients, and repeat customers.
  • Resolve client concerns with professionalism and discretion.


Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and develop a motivated and knowledgeable sales team.
  • Set clear expectations and coach employees in luxury selling techniques and product expertise.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins and performance reviews.
  • Build a collaborative, positive, and design-oriented store culture.

Operations & Visual Merchandising

  • Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing, scheduling, and cash handling.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, manage receiving, and coordinate product transfers.
  • Lead in-store events, designer trunk shows, and seasonal launches to drive traffic, brand engagement, and community outreach.
  • Execute floor sets and seasonal displays in close collaboration with the visual merchandising team to ensure brand consistency and a cohesive presentation.
  • Ensure the physical environment is pristine, safe, and aligned with the Anthem San Francisco aesthetic.

Communication & Reporting

  • Provide regular updates, staffing reports, and merchandising feedback to the leadership team.
  • Partner with the operations and visual teams to ensure seamless operations.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of retail management experience, ideally in luxury home, fashion, or design sectors.
  • Proven success driving sales and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of design trends, visual merchandising, and premium client service.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with POS and retail management software (Shopify POS experience a plus).
  • Ability to lift 25+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform routine physical retail duties.
  • Availability to work one weekend day each week.
