The Disque Chandelier is a stunning and substantial piece that features the interplay of 11 lights and nearly 100 hand blown Murano glass discs. Each disc is carefully finished with the battuto technique -- a delicate, precise process with a grinding wheel that embellishes and fragments the glassy surface to mimic the reflections of a Venetian lagoon. No two pieces are exactly the same.
