The exterior of this gold box is textural, as it is made of a mosaic of broken-glass bangle bracelets from India that were in pieces when they were hand-applied. The uniformity of the surface requires a painstaking process that takes hours to achieve. The mosaic is applied to a wood structure and the interior of this box is wrapped in linen.
